Adopt a Classroom

YOU can provide an opportunity to scholars to enhance their classroom learning by Adopting A Classroom which provides funding for needed classroom materials.  At La Academia, 90% of our scholars are below or at the poverty level and come from area neighborhoods.  

The Adopt A Classroom Program provides donations which will be used to purchase resources such as books, learning games, manipulatives and other materials that help them create an engaging and effective classroom learning environment.  Teachers may also use the funds for field trips, assemblies, or other programs that impact scholars.

Donors receive thank you emails, impact stories, and the list of supplies they purchased for their adopted classroom.  A display sign acknowledging the donor will be placed adjacent to the classroom door and the teacher will be have the donor’s contact information to facilitate ongoing communication.  The donor will be acknowledged on the La Academia website and on all related social media sites.

Each classroom donation is $300 or more, which is tax deductible to our non-profit 501 c3 organization.
